During 2015 I really got excited about sports photography after attending two workshops taught by a long time Sports Illustrated photographer, Peter Read Miller. I learned a lot about shooting various college sports as you can see from my Division I portfolio on this website. It allowed me to build a wonderful portfolio that led me to a part time freelance job for two area newspapers shooting sports. I have since expanded on that by applying for and being accepted as a freelance photographer for MaxPreps which is basically the high school sports arm of CBS Sports. All this and it's just a hobby for me!
My current focus is with high school sports and I enjoy capturing pro quality digital images that can be enjoyed by the athletes, their teams, and their families. I hope to continue providing quality images, but that all depends on the support I receive from you. For most games I shoot, I'm there on my own time and expense with no compensation, and trust me, pro level camera gear is not cheap! Again, this is a hobby. To continue this, I am relying on you to help support what I do by purchasing one or two digital files or prints occasionally. You can purchase digital files of my work at MaxPreps. If you prefer prints, you can purchase those right here on my website. Print orders are processed and shipped directly to you by MPIX, a quality lab near Kansas City that I have used for years.
I can also put together portfolios of several images, create collages of a team or individuals, or create custom photo shoot packages of individual teams or athletes. Contact me if you would like to discuss options.
